Training, Cohorts & Preparatory Waitlist
AFTI combines rigorous hands-on field production with structured leadership tracks. To ensure early success stories, we screen for dedicated core cohorts while maintaining an engaged preparatory waitlist to scale seamlessly for regional harvest surges and grower needs in Linn County.
🎯 Active Cohort: Finding the Core Diamonds in the Rough
Our initial active groups are vetted for grit, reliability, and resilience. Candidates undergo practical screening—including on-site task trials and reliability checks—to prepare them to become future industry trainers, micro-farmer success stories, and reliable farm leads.
⏳ Preparatory Waitlist & Foundation Track
Waitlist participants stay actively engaged through introductory modules, community workdays, and baseline safety workshops. This track builds readiness points, allowing us to rapidly activate surge labor when peak harvest periods demand extra hands.
🤝 Grower-Driven Skill Customization
Willamette Valley partner growers specify their exact operational requirements—from irrigation management to specialty harvesting. Our curriculum dynamically tailors training to match these requests, bridging talent directly to employment.
